Very friendly owner, delicious coffee, great aromas of the shisha… what more can you ask for? I’d recommend anyone who enjoys a good vibe to visit. It was my first and it won’t be my last!

OCs is the best hookah in Milwaukee. The staff always remembers me and the music and atmosphere is on point. It's a great casual place, a lot of people work on their laptops. If they are at full capacity they will take down your number and text you when a spot opens up. Can't recommend highly enough

Hookah tastes great every time. The staff is on point and it’s a great environment if you want to work on business reports, study, or hang with some friends on the weekends. Highly recommend over Casablanca

Some of the most welcoming people I have ever met. If you’re looking for the most authentic Arab style place to hang out, this is it. The music is always awesome and diverse. Best hookah and best service in town. The Turkish coffee is fantastic, especially paired with the amazing cheesecake!

This place is nice, I've been here a few times. No real strong feelings on it. Service is friendly and laid back. Tea and shakes are pretty great. Good atmosphere for just hanging out or getting some light work done. Music isn't too loud but it's defiantly a feature. Over all it's nice. Update: This cafe eventually became my go to place to hang out with friends between classes at the nearby University. I spent a lot of free time there, getting to know the staff sampling a bunch of different menu items. Getting some homework done and just generally having a great time relaxing. Honestly now that I don't live nearby I miss it so much. Everytime I've tried to stop by in the past few years it's been closed. Seems like during/after COVID their hours became pretty weird. If there's one place in Milwaukee I miss, it's Oakland Cafe.

I’ve come here since 2016, it’s like home to me. Perfect Sun-Wed for a place to study and Thursday-Saturday for a fun night out. The hookah bar is very authentic, serves snacks, and the owner is amazing. He always makes customers feel like family. As a woman I am comfortable going alone; also the prices are great, music is great, and try a non alcoholic pina colada drink or Arab mint tea! Love Oakland forever. #prettygirlsloveOC

It became my second home, and I honestly spend more time here than at my actual place. The ambiance is incredibly inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The hookahs are always top-notch, and the variety of flavors ensures there's always something new to try. The staff is friendly and attentive, making each visit a pleasant experience. If you're looking for a great spot to unwind and enjoy high-quality hookah, Oakland Cafe is the place to be! Ask to sit outside on a good weather day and thank me later ;)

No food is served here, but you can bring food from outside in. Great hookah, great chill relaxed vibe. And the Drinks hot and cold are amazing!

Great place, good hookah, good coffee. Place is chill and relaxing. Great chill night place to come to with friends or family. The Asian girl who helped us was very nice and attentive. 10/10 recommend
